Who We Are

ABOUT US

Building a Better Tomorrow

The ADDA Girl Education Foundation (ADDA) is an initiative inspired by the legacy of Her Lordship, Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa, OFR, CFR, PCA (Rtd). The Foundation aims to build the girl-child capacity from cradle to leadership. The Foundation's main objective is to build a new set of female leaders empowered with the education and leadership skills required to make positive changes in Nigeria. Girls from pro-poor communities will be adopted through an established selection process and provided access to quality education and soft skills to make them employable.

The Foundation will build partnerships with the public and private sectors to leverage shared values aimed at bridging gender gaps and securing a bright future for girls. In addition, ADDA will collaborate with influential stakeholders to lead advocacy and mobilize communities for social approval of the initiative. Finally, the Foundation will engage men, women, and school-aged youth through community-level activities to address barriers and social norms impeding girls' access to quality basic education.

The ADDA Girl Education Foundation (ADDA) is highly committed to empowering girls to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
